Kiley

My name is Kiley.

I am married to a kind, loving, supportive husband, and together we are raising 4 wonderful children. Homeschool life has become a part time hobby- what am I kidding- it kinda rules my life! I love to go on hikes, field trips and other educational outings with my homeschool groupies and my family. However, my real passions lie in creativity.

Art is my therapy. I love to compose music, write literature and poetry, paint, draw, sculpt and more. Music composition is what I turn to the most when I’m having a rough day. Writing allows me to express my innermost thoughts and feelings in ways I otherwise wouldn’t be able to. Adding music to words brings all the emotions together and pours them out on the table.

Most people would tell you I’m really good at talking – A LOT! When I’m with the people who get me, I can talk forever. I love to talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, mental and emotional health (especially our capacity to heal through mindset, food and other holistic measures),  and anything that will make myself and others laugh. I love to be silly, lighten the mood and bring smiles to peoples faces. I also love to talk deep, get real and be unafraid to bring up the hard stuff.

I believe authenticity is necessary for true happiness. I encourage all women I meet to be themselves – weaknesses and all.  My goal is to help others feel safe with who they are. I want everyone in this world to feel valued as the being God created them to be.

I love and respect all faiths. I think there is goodness found in most of them. I love cultural music, language, dance, song and food. I dream of a world where we can have vast political, religious and cultural differences and still find a way to appreciate, respect and even honor those differences. Because, how boring would life be if we were all the same?

My passion with the MotherHeart lies in Empowering women: in birth, mothering and especially mental health. I want women to see their divinity – to understand the magnitude of their role and mission in life – to connect with their inner being – and learn to thrive in their own skin, wherever they are. I want every woman and mother to know – whatever hardships they are going through – they are not alone. The struggle is real, but the capacity for joy is also just as real. Above all, I hope for every woman to discover the immeasurable peace and support that comes through turning to Christ. No mother should ever have to work alone. I believe Christ and angels are among us, ready to assist us in this great cause of motherhood.

My credentials: self-proclaimed master of motherhood. No, just kidding. I’m still a total novice. I studied Psychology and Family History in college. But in all honesty, most of my experience has come from reading books of truth and receiving revelation, line upon line and precept upon precept. Parenting is a natural teacher. I think any parent would agree. It teaches us just how little we actually know. I think I’m just a normal mom. We all have something to give, and the little bit I have to give, I want to share with you, here at the MotherHeart.

Rachael

Rachael

Hello, I’m Rachael.

I feel complete joy inside when I think of the power of women and our purpose in creation. When I think about women gathering all over the world right now to strengthen each other and support each other, I feel power. I feel a power that the world needs right now. Women standing up inside and recognizing who they really are and sharing it with the world. We are a force, a sustaining force in this world. We are needed, wanted and loved by Heavenly Parents who are cheering us on.

I look back on my life, and it has prepared me for this moment to share my heart and experiences and love with all of you. It’s been a path of discovery of myself and who I am, and I am still understanding new things every day! It’s been a true path of healing. When I think of healing power, I think of Jesus Christ, who went below all the pain, the heart ache, the sorrow. He went below it all physically, mentally, and spiritually so that we can heal. and become at one with ourselves. Our true selves! This brings me ultimate joy to know healing is possible, that with His power and help I can see myself clearly and ultimately fly!!!

I love you all and am so grateful to be here!!

Annamaria

Annamaria

Hello, I’m Annamaria (pronounced AUNNAMARIA).

So, who am I? First, before I share things about what I enjoy and love, let me just say that our WORTH is the SAME. Our Heavenly Parents love each of us unconditionally. Knowing and understanding this allows me to have the space to LOVE myself better, and to give myself and others the same compassion our Savior, Jesus Christ, would. It is hard though, and I often need to be reminded that I don’t have to scratch or hustle for God’s love. God’s love is already within me. I need to accept it, and then share it. I believe in our Savior, Jesus Christ. He lives.

I LOVE nature more than I have words to express. Basically, when I am in nature, I feel more present and alive than when I am anywhere else. I feel my essence and my purpose more clearly. In nature, I feel my creativity expanding.

I am married to a kind man. He gets me. He listens to me. He seldom judges me. For this I am humbled and grateful. He saw the wings on my back and said, FLY!

We have 4 Little Men ages 14, 12, 9, & 6. Sometimes, I wish I could freeze time and keep them from turning into Big Men.

Some of my favorite things are flowers, trees, mountains, horses, long walks, raspberries, sunshine, chocolate ice cream, yoga, laughing, my front porch and people. I really love people.

So why am I part of the MotherHeart?

I am part of the MotherHeart because I believe in the power of women and the power of our hearts -the power of our love. There’s a void in each one of us, yearning for connection, for understanding. And one healthy way to fill that void is to accept and share Christ’s light, and to share who we are. I believe in the power of story, and in the power of our voices. I am grateful to be a part of this incredible circle of women from all over the world, and I look forward to the beautiful experiences that will come by joining my heart with yours. I believe that as we step into our true and highest selves, as we accept Christ’s light, we will be able to fulfill our divine purposes and missions.
