Welcome back for our July Bookclub Discussion!
The book we chose for this month is called “Balanced and Barefoot: How Unrestricted Outdoor Play Makes for Strong, Confident, and Capable Children,” by Angela J. Hanscom. Nature can be our greatest teacher without using a single word. It can help bring us into balance, and it’s essential for childhood development. Listen in as we talk about some of our “aha!” moments while reading this book, as well as some things from the book we are implementing with our children. What do you think? Have you read the book? What have you observed about the children you associate with and their need for nature?
Visit our MotherHeart Facebook Group and join the discussion! We’d love to hear from you! Below we’ve included some wonderful resources to help you in your efforts to get outside.
